Purpose

Appointment of Contractor for refurbishment and extension works
at Cherry Tree Grove

Decision

 The Assistant
Director – Property and Assets authorises:
 

(1)        
the appointment of the contractor
identified, and the contract sum described in the report for the
delivery of the refurbishment and extension of the scheme at Cherry
Tree Grove, Atherton;

(2)        
budget approval of the total
scheme cost as identified in the report and recommend that the
sheltered general capital budget be updated accordingly;

(3)        
delegation of authority to the
Service Manager Commercial assets and Development, to approve any
cost variation from those costs described in the report, within the
financial envelope set out in the report; and

(4)        
the Assistant Director –
Legal Governance and Elections to enter into any  documentation necessary to give effect to the
above.
