Purpose

The item relates to the management and delivery of the
Council’s Building Control functions for a 12-month period by
an external party to the Council.

Decision

 The Portfolio
Holder for Planning, Environmental Services and Transport
authorises:
 

(1)    
the award of this 12-month
contract for the management and the delivery of the Council’s
Building Control services, as detailed within the report, to the
provider named within the report; and

(2)    
the Assistant Director –
Legal, Governance and Elections to enter into such documentation as
necessary on behalf of the Council to give effect to
(1).
