Purpose

The community transport management software system currently in use to manage and deliver the Home to School Transport for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and for Adult Transport services attending daily social care requires replacement due to its age and functionality. In addition, the front line staff are to be equipped with electronic devices to support the introduction of digital processes and improvements to service delivery.

Decision

The Director – Environment authorises:-

(1)   contract award to the provider and on the terms detailed in the report; and

(2)   the Assistant Director – Legal, Governance and Elections to enter any agreements on behalf of the Council to facilitate 1.
