Purpose

A Deed of Variation to the ‘Development Agreement relating
to the Galleries Shopping Centre and Wigan Council Market
Site’, between Wigan Borough Council and Cityheart Limited
dated 25th June 2021.

Decision

The Executive Leader (Portfolio Holder for Economic Development
and Regeneration) authorises:-
 

(1)    entering into a Deed of
Variation to the Development Agreement relating to the Galleries
Shopping Centre and Wigan Council Market Site, made between Wigan
Borough Council and Cityheart Limited dated
25th June 2021 (“the Development Agreement”)
in the substantive form attached to the report at Attachment 1.

(2)    the Assistant Director –
Legal, Governance and Elections to enter into any agreements
necessary on behalf of the Council to facilitate (1).
