Purpose

To aid community groups/community service providers to create new activities across the Wigan Borough for children with SEND

Decision

The Director – Prevention, Early Help and Sufficiency authorises a programme of investment open to service providers/groups to apply for a grant to improve local sufficiency growth for children and young people with SEND. This will enable them to access activities within their community that will afford their parents/carers short breaks from their caring responsibilities.
