Purpose

Further to the acceptance of £475,110 grant funding for
2024/25 and plans for recruitment of staff as part of the
government’s new ‘Stopping the Start: our new plan to
create a Smokefree Generation’ plan in April 24, this paper
sets out how the remaining £120,00 of funding will be
allocated.

Decision

The Deputy Director – Public Health
authorises:

 

(1)    the allocation of the
“Stopping the Start” Grant as outlined in the
report;.

(2)    the Assistant Director
– Legal, Governance & Elections to enter into any
agreements necessary to facilitate (1) on behalf of the
Council.
