Purpose

Wigan Council will produce a Productivity Plan, as required by
the Department of Levelling Up, Housing and Communities as outlined
in February 2024, to be received and signed off by the
Council’s Cabinet. The Plan provides detail on how the
Council has transformed its services to make better use of
resources, and provides detail on the four key areas
required.

Decision

The Portfolio Holder for Finance, Resources and Transformation
approves the Productivity Plan attached to this report, as a clear
and comprehensive response to the requirement of the Department for
Levelling Up, Housing and Communities
(DLUHC).
