Purpose

To seek approval for the main works contract award

Decision

The Assistant Director - Property and Assets:-
 

(1)       
authorises the contract award described in the report together with
any agreements either in advance thereof or ancillary to the main
works contract;

(2)       
agrees the detailed terms and conditions for the appointment of the
contractor identified in the report to provide main works to the
Civic Centre project for the delivery of the whole Civic
development (Phase 1 & Phase 2); and

(3)       
authorises the Assistant Director - Legal Governance and Elections
to enter into any agreements necessary to facilitate the above on
behalf of the Council.
