Purpose

The Department of Education has allocated funding to Wigan
Council as part of two national funding programmes.
1) Early Years Entitlement expansion programme
2) Wraparound expansion programme

Decision

The Portfolio Holder for Children and Families
approves the intended use of grant funding to expand
existing or develop new childcare places as outlined in the
Entitlement and Wraparound Expansion Programmes. (Funded by the
DfE).
