Purpose

The purpose of this report is to seek delegated authority for
the Building Grant Scheme as part of the ‘Our Future
Ashton’ Capital Regeneration Programme.

Decision

The Director of Place:

(1)    authorises the Our Future Ashton
Building Grant scheme in accordance with the ‘fixed
parameters’ contained in the report;

(2)    delegates authority to the
Assistant Director – Planning and Regeneration to make such
reasonable changes to the ‘non-fixed parameters’
contained in the report, as may be necessary to ensure the success
of the scheme.

(3)    delegates authority to the
Assistant Director - Planning and Regeneration, to make decisions
on grant applications under the Building Grant Scheme; and

(4)    authorises the Assistant
Director Legal, Governance and Elections on behalf of the Council
to enter into any agreements necessary to facilitate 1, 2 and
3.
