Purpose

The aim of the
service is to provide support, advice and guidance to Armed Forces
serving personnel, Veterans and their families with Wigan Borough
regarding Health and Wellbeing, Welfare, Education, Housing,
Employment and Social Inclusion.

Decision

The Director - Social Care and Transformation
authorises:
 

(1)    
the award of the contract for the
provision of support, advice and guidance to the provider outlined
in the report; and

(2)    
the Assistant Director –
Legal, Governance & Elections to enter into such documentation
on behalf of the Council necessary to give effect to (1)
above.
