Purpose

Report to agree the closure of Douglas Valley Properties Ltd
following cessation of trading activity and transfer of leases to
Wigan Metropolitan Development Company.

Decision

The Portfolio Holder for Economic
Development and Regeneration, and Executive Leader,
authorises:

 

(1)  all
necessary steps to be taken to wind up Douglas Valley Properties
via voluntary strike off as detailed in the report;

(2) the
assets of Douglas Valley Properties Ltd be passed to Douglas Valley
Communities Ltd; and

(3)  the
Assistant Director – Legal, Governance and Elections to
undertake any processes and enter into any agreements on behalf of
the Council to facilitate the above.
