Purpose

Springfield,
Beech Hill and Gidlow CommUnity is a resident-led partnership
driving real change at neighbourhood level. By connecting people,
supporting grassroots groups, and making the most of local spaces,
they’re building a stronger, healthier, and more resilient
community.

Their work tackles the root causes of poor health
inequalities, tests new ways of working with public services
— offering valuable insight for our future neighbourhood
model.

This funding will support core costs and unlock significant
match investment, helping secure long-term impact for the borough
and beyond.
 

Decision

 The Assistant Director – Community
Wealth & Health Building authorises:-
 

(1)    
the financial support to Springfield, Beech Hill
and Gidlow CommUnity; and

(2)    
the Assistant Director – Legal, Governance and
Elections to enter into all agreements necessary on behalf of the
Council.
