Purpose

The development
of a Wigan Borough Wide Transport Model (WBWTM) to better
understand and predict the impacts of proposed highway schemes and
new development sites.

Decision

The Assistant
Director of Planning and Regeneration authorises:

(1)    
the appointment of the consultant identified in the report:
and

(2)    
the Assistant Director – Legal, Governance and
Elections, on behalf of the Council to enter into any legal
agreements necessary to facilitate (1).
