Purpose

A licence for
the construction of a mock hotel room within the existing market
hall as a part of the Fettlers redevelopment.

Decision

The Director
– Place, in consultation with the Executive Leader (Portfolio
Holder for Economic Development and Regeneration) and the Assistant
Director – Legal, Governance and Elections, pursuant to the
authority delegated by the Cabinet decision dated
31st July 2025,
authorises:
 

(1)        
the competition of the Licence Agreement in the substantive
form attached to the report at Appendix B to facilitate the works
as described in the report; and

(2)        
the Assistant Director – Legal, Governance and
Elections to enter into all agreements necessary on behalf of the
Council, to facilitate the above.
