Purpose

To approve the
asset described above is declared surplus to council requirements
and facilitate its marketing for disposal

Decision

The Assistant
Director - Property and Assets:-
 

(1)    
declares that Maxwell House (described in Appendix A) is
surplus to requirements;

(2)    
authorises soft market testing to gauge the appetite in the
open market and the potential capital return which could be
expected from disposal of Maxwell House; and

(3)    
authorises Service Manager – Strategic Assets to take
all steps and any decisions necessary to facilitate the future
disposal of Maxwell House in accordance with all enabling
legislation.
