Purpose

The Bolton
House Road Recovery Group is seeking a decision to appoint a
contractor to remove waste illegally deposited on Bolton House
Road, Bickershaw adjoined land.

This will involve appointing a contractor to clear vegetation
to allow access, secure and restore the site. The waste will be
excavated, loaded onto haulage vehicles and transported for
disposal at permitted facilities.

Hoder for Planning, Environmental Services and Transport
authorises:-
 

(1)    
the award of the Site Clearance (Bolton House Road) contract
to the provider identified in the report; and

(2)    
the Assistant Director of Legal Governance and Elections to
enter into any agreements necessary on behalf of the Council to
facilitate (1).
