Purpose

This report
seeks the approval of the Executive Leader (Portfolio Holder for
Economic Development and Regeneration) to authorise Leigh Sports
Village Limited to negotiate, agree terms and enter all necessary
agreements with two professional sports clubs to facilitate their
continued use of the stadium and associated training and ancillary
facilities at Leigh Sports Village, Sale Way, Leigh WN7
4JY.
 

Decision

The Executive
Leader and Portfolio Holder for Economic Development and
Regeneration authorises Leigh Sports Village Limited
in its role of asset manager of Leigh Sports Village, to negotiate,
agree terms and enter all agreements necessary with the parties
referred to in the report to secure their continued use of the
stadium and associated training and ancillary facilities at Leigh
Sports Village, Sale Way, Leigh WN7 4JY.
