Purpose

Wigan Council
is the admission authority for community and voluntary controlled
schools. It is a statutory duty for Cabinet to determine the
admission arrangements for these schools for 2027-28.

Decision

 

 The Portfolio
Holder for Children and Families authorises:-

 

(1)  the
determination of the admission arrangements for Community and
Voluntary Controlled schools for 2027/28; and

(2)  approval
of the Co-ordinated Admission Schemes for admission to primary and
secondary schools for 2027/28.
