Purpose

Release of
former Christopher Street Depot and adjoining land for affordable
housing.

Decision

 The Assistant Director - Property and
Assets authorises:-
 

(1)  the
disposal of the site at Christopher Street, Ince, Wigan on the
terms outlined in this report in accordance with all enabling
legislation, including but not limited to, the Local Government Act
1972 and the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 for the purposes of
building new homes;

(2)  any
legal agreements, documents and processes required to facilitate
the disposal at (1) and the delivery of the scheme; and

(3) the
Assistant Director – Legal, Governance & Elections to
enter into any legal agreements on behalf of the Council to give
effect to the disposal and associated contractual
provisions.
