Purpose

The Grant is to deliver an Enhanced Live Well support programme for people experiencing multiple challenges within the borough.

Decision

The Portfolio Holder for Housing and Welfare authorises:-

(1)  acceptance of grant funding from Greater Manchester Combined Authority to support the local roll-out of the Enhanced Live Well programme;

(2)  entry into the grant funding agreement with Greater Manchester Combined Authority on the terms described in this report;

(3)  delegation of authority to the Assistant Director - Neighbourhood Reform and Skills, to take all necessary decisions regarding the allocation, distribution and utilisation of the GMCA Enhanced Live Well funding; and

(4)  the Chief Legal Officer to enter into any agreements necessary to facilitate the above on behalf of the Council.
