Purpose

A Deed of Variation to the ‘Development Agreement relating to the Galleries Shopping Centre and Wigan Council Market Site’, between Wigan Borough Council and Cityheart Limited dated 25th June 2021.

Decision

The Portfolio Holder for Economic Development and Regeneration authorises:

(1)     entering into a Deed of Variation to the Development Agreement relating to the Galleries Shopping Centre and Wigan Council Market Site, made between Wigan Borough Council and Cityheart Limited dated 25 June 2021 as varied, in the substantive form attached to the report at Appendix B; and

(2)     the Chief Legal Officer to enter into any agreements necessary on behalf of the Council to facilitate (1).
