Schools Forum

The Wiltshire Schools Forum is a statutory body that Wiltshire Council must consult on key financial matters affecting schools. It advises on the school funding formula, contracts, and other financial issues. The Forum's decisions are advisory, and its advice may not be considered by the council if meetings are inquorate. The majority of its 20 voting members are representatives from maintained schools and academies, with specific voting rights on the funding formula reserved for school members and early years representatives. The Forum also includes nominated service partners and invited observers from various educational and support organisations.
