Purpose
In the Spring Budget 2023 the Chancellor
announced the expansion of Wraparound Childcare for all primary
aged school children. The wraparound
care should provide care from 8am – 6pm, Monday –
Friday during term time. The DfE has allocated £3,331,829.89
Programme Costs 2024-2026 to Wiltshire Council to support the
creation of new places or the expansion of existing provision to
meet the timing requirements.
This decision seeks approval to award the
following amounts:

Pickwick Academy Trust for the project at Corsham Primary School,
Pound Bill and Broadwood sites - £74,575.00
·
Equa Mead Learning Trust for the project at The Mead Community
Primary School, Hilperton and Wingfield sites -
£69,778.00
·
Equa Mead Learning Trust for the project at Castle Mead School -
£64,293.00
·
Little Foxes (Out of School Ltd) for the project at Brinkworth
Early Danby Church of England Primary School - £51,745.00
