relation to a proposed 20mph speed limit for the parish of
Marlborough and to recommend an appropriate way forward.

advertised.
(ii) The objectors be advised
accordingly.
This decision was
published on 6 August 2025 and will come into force on 14 August
2025.
Reasons for the decision
The proposed 20mph speed limit is in line with
national guidance and the changes are proposed following a detailed
speed limit assessment by Council Engineers. Collectively, these changes should provide a
positive impact on road safety.
The proposals are in accordance with Outcomes
2, 3 and 4 of the Council’s Business Plan.
The proposals have been prioritised by the
Marlborough LHFIG and supported by the Area Board, as well as
Marlborough Town Council.
