Purpose
To consider the proposed felling of 1no Ash tree at
Brown Street, Trowbridge and the consultation undertaken in
accordance with S115 of the Environment Act 2021 and 96A of the
Highways Act 1980 and to recommend an appropriate way
forward.
It is a requirement of S115 of the
Environment Act 2021 that a report outlining the decision made
following consultation is prepared and published, with a minimum of
28 days between the publication of the decision and any tree
felling taking place.

Reasons for the decision
It is proposed to proceed as advertised with the
felling of the Ash tree on Brown Street to facilitate the
