That Cabinet:
- 1. approves the use of frameworks operated by the Procurement Partnership (TPPL) to procure 165 number light goods vehicles and specialist vehicles for the period 2026/27 to 2029/2030 funded by the already allocated capital budget, and to the criteria/ specification detailed in the Council’s Fleet Strategy 2023 – 2030.
- 2. approves the award of contracts for the vehicles to be delegated to the Director of Highways and Transport, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Highways, Streetscene and Flooding.
Reasons for Decision:
To award a call-off contracts under the relevant TPPL frameworks as requirements dictate from time to time for the replacement of up to 165 vehicles for the period 2026/ 27 to 2029/2030.
