To approve and authorise Wiltshire Council to award and sign a variation to the contract with Cooleraid for the servicing of water fountain units at Melksham Community Campus

Reasons for the decision

The council awarded a contract to Cooleraid commencing 1st October 2025 for the supply of various water cooler units to Wiltshire Council Leisure Centres.

Melksham Community Campus has 4 units installed that require 6-monthly servicing of the filters and parts.

The variation has been aligned to the end date of the existing contract.

Alternative options considered

Leisure could not have got the units serviced - Rejected because: It is good practice to service water fountains 6-monthly to ensure the cleanliness of the internal filters and water quality.
