Decision
To approve, award and enter into a new contract with 4Global for the Insights platform across the leisure estate
Reasons for the decision
4Global have changed their platform from DataHub to Insights. It is a free platform that the council provides anonymised data to in order for benchmarking across our service and the industry as a whole. Insights links to a number of other packages that we utilise and require as a council, including Moving Communities, Dashboards.
There is an existing Data User Agreement (DUA) with 4Global, this is an update, with inclusion of Annex 1 – Details of the Processing to continue with the service.
The council needs to continue to provide this data to provide accurate benchmarking across the industry and for our various reporting.
See the attached document for considerations in line with Wiltshire Council’s Constitution.
Alternative options considered
The council could not sign the agreement and not provide the service.
This would mean we would not be benchmarking across the industry, would be unable to access certain reports/dash boards and more importantly SE may request a claw back of the NRLF funding that was provided during Covid
