About

The Appointments Panel, established under the Council's Constitution, is responsible for making recommendations regarding the appointment of the Head of Paid Service and for appointing Directors. The Council itself must approve the appointment of the Head of Paid Service based on the Panel's recommendation. The Panel's membership includes the Leader, Deputy Leader, Leader of the Opposition, Deputy Leader of the Opposition, and a member of the Audit & Governance Committee.
