Cabinet Committee: Regeneration

The Cabinet Committee: Regeneration is responsible for overseeing the council's regeneration projects and ensuring they meet established objectives. It exercises financial management and procurement powers for major regeneration projects, agreeing project plans, monitoring progress, and managing risks. The committee also approves business cases, communication strategies, and consultation methods.

It has delegated authority to approve planning applications, agree land disposals and acquisitions within budget, and award contracts for works, goods, or services. The committee also advises Cabinet on proposals exceeding delegated limits or involving significant financial estimates, and on any other relevant regeneration matters.
