About

The Winchester Town Forum acts as a consultative and advisory body for issues affecting the five Winchester Town District Wards, and sometimes adjoining areas. It considers the draft budget for the S35 Town Account and makes recommendations to Cabinet and Council. The Forum can incur expenditure, set fees, manage property, arrange events, and scrutinise performance reports, with specific financial limits for capital schemes and budget virements. It also reviews schemes funded by the Open Spaces Fund and Community Infrastructure Levy, making recommendations to Cabinet.
