Standing Advisory Council on Religious Education

The Standing Advisory Council on Religious Education (SACRE) ensures that the RE syllabus in RBWM schools is accurate and that a high quality of RE is taught. The meetings bring together teachers and religious representatives.   Four meetings are held every year, starting at 5:00pm. Three meetings are held in-person at different religious venues and schools across the borough, with one meeting held virtually.   Membership consists of three Councillors, alongside faith and teacher representatives.
