Joint Strategic Commissioning Board (JSCB)

The Joint Strategic Commissioning Board (JSCB) is a sub-committee of the Adult Social Care and Public Health Committee, working jointly with National Health Service representatives. It exercises delegated authority for Wirral Council on pooled funding arrangements with the NHS or other bodies, and on place-based health and care arrangements as required by law. The JSCB also oversees the commissioning, strategic design, quality, and performance of health and care services across Wirral, focusing on service outcomes and quality within the remit of the Adult Social Care and Public Health Committee.
