Resolved (Unanimously) – That

The Wirral Local
Plan 2022 to 2040, attached to this report as Appendix 3 and the
on-line Policies Map as part of the statutory Development Plan for
the Borough of Wirral be adopted with immediate effect, from the
date this resolution is approved; and

the remaining
policies in the Wirral Unitary Development Plan adopted in February
2000 be withdrawn; and

Director of
Regeneration and Place be authorised to:

 
a. 
issue a Local Plan adoption statement and sustainability
appraisal report in accordance with Regulations 17 and 26 of the
Town and Country Planning Local Planning Regulations 2012, as
amended; and
b. 
correct typographical and factual errors, amend paragraph
reference numbers, any consequential cross referencing and
formatting and pagination for final printing; and
c. 
publish the final printed versions of the Written Statement and
the Policies Map.
