Purpose

This report requests Adult Social Care and Public Health Committee to approve the mandatory Section 75 pooled fund arrangement for 2025/26, between the Wirral Integrated Care Board (ICB) and the Council and give delegated authority to the Director of Law and Corporate Services in consultation with the Director of Care and Health to sign off the agreement.

Decision

Resolved – That

1. 1.  The continuation and the value of £71.5m of the pooled fund arrangement between the Council and the NHS Cheshire and Merseyside ICB, Wirral Place for 2025/26 be approved and endorsed, and
2. 2.  The Director of Law and Corporate Services in consultation with the Director of Adults, Health, and Strategic Commissioning be authorised, to enter an agreement pursuant to Section 75 of the National Health Services Act 2006 agreement with the NHS Cheshire and Merseyside ICB, Wirral Place for 2025/26.
