Resolved – That
 
1.
 
Policy and Resources Committee be recommended to agree a virement
from the Strategic Holding Account Contingency of £0.316
million to Adult Social Care for the 2025/26 financial year in
order to fund the cost of the redesign of the Deprivation of
Liberty Safeguards Team and Supervisory Body function;
and
 
2.
  It
be noted that the cost of the proposed restructure would be
£758,000 per annum in future years, and that the ongoing
costs would need to be addressed in future budget rounds, in order
to meet the service capacity requirements.
