Purpose

Wirral Council have been successful in its bid to National Lottery’s Climate Action Fund for £1.57 million over three years. The funding will support the pioneering Cool Wirral Thriving Communities Programme

Decision

RESOLVED: That the Environment, Climate Emergency and Transport Committee approves:

1. The allocation of the National Lottery Climate Action Fund grant as set out in Appendix 1 to this report.

1. That the Interim Director of Operations be authorised to amend the delivery or implementation of the National Lottery Climate Action Fund grant programme having regard to available resources and risk-based prioritisation of schemes, in consultation with the Chair and Spokespersons of this Committee
