The Woking Planning Committee determines planning applications, including those related to enforcement, planning agreements, lawful use, advertisement control, listed buildings, conservation areas, tree preservation, minerals and waste disposal, and hazardous substances. It also considers development proposals from Surrey County Council and the Borough Council. Members of the public have the right to speak on qualifying planning applications heard by the committee.
