Purpose

To consider the contract renewal for the
Council’s Housing Management System.

The Executive Resolved

That  (i)    a
contract be awarded with Capita/MRI Community Software Ltd for the
Council’s Housing Management System (OneHousing and OneAssets) for five years; and

         
(ii)   authority be delegated to
the Strategic Director - Communities and Director of Legal and
Democratic Services, in consultation with the Portfolio Holder, to
take all necessary steps to effect the decision in (i) above, including finalising terms and entering
into relevant contracts.

Reason: The contract is essential due to the expiry
of the current contract and the lack of viable alternatives. The
hosted solution offers significant operational and financial
benefits, future-proofs service delivery, and aligns with Council
policy and the Housing Improvement Programme.
