Purpose

To recommend to Council the approval of
various housing operational policies covering compliance,
maintenance and management of our housing stock.

Content

The Executive Recommended to Council

That (i)    the Fire Safety Policy be approved;

         
(ii)   the Mobility Scooter, E-Scooter and E-Bike Policy be
approved;

         
(iii)  the Void Management Policy be
approved;

         
(iv) the Good Neighbour
Management Policy be approved; and

         
(v)  the Strategic Director – People and
Communities, in consultation with the Portfolio Holder for Housing,
be authorised to make minor amendments to the Policies as
required.

Reason: To ensure that the Council
has up to date and transparent policies in place that meet the
requirements of the Regulator of Social Housing and Consumer
Standards.
