To agree next steps and timetable to bring
forward the new Local Plan for Woking.

The Executive Resolved

That  (i)    the proposed timetable for the new
local plan is agreed; and

         
(ii)   delegated authority is
granted to the Head of Planning, in consultation with the Portfolio
Holder for Planning, to make any necessary amendments and to
publish the timetable and “notice of intention to commence
local plan preparation” no later than 30 June
2026.

Reason: To make sure the 30-month timeline can be
achieved, it is necessary for Members to agree the proposed
timetable and to grant delegated authority to make minor amendments
if needed to avoid any delays.
