Content

The Executive Resolved

That  (i)    the proposed changes to the Regulation
of Investigatory Powers Act policy included at Appendix 1 to the
report be noted; and

         
(ii)   the update on the use of
Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000 during the 2025
calendar year be noted.

Reason: To ensure that the Council is kept up to
date and can monitor the Council’s use of covert surveillance
and investigatory powers and ensure that the policy is up to
date.
