Purpose

To recommend to Council the approval of
various housing operational policies covering compliance,
maintenance and management of our housing stock.

Content

The Executive Recommended to Council

That (i)    the
Damp and Mould Policy be approved; and

         
(ii)   the Strategic Director
– People and Communities, in consultation with the Portfolio
Holder for Housing, be authorised to make minor amendments to the
Policy as required.

Reason: To ensure that the Council
has up to date and transparent policies in place that meet the
requirements of the Regulator of Social Housing and Consumer
Standards.
