Purpose

To agree an extension to the Housing Repairs
and Maintenance contract.

Content

The Executive Resolved

That  (i)    the final 2-year contract extension
for the Housing Responsive Repairs Contract with Mountjoy Limited
be agreed for the period 1 April 2027 to 31 March 2029;
and

         
(ii)   authority be delegated to
the Strategic Director – People and Communities, in
consultation with the Portfolio Holder, to take all necessary steps
to affect the decision.

Reason: To ensure the Council can meet its statutory
and regulatory obligations in respect to Housing
Repairs.
