Purpose

To receive a report on the Housing Gas Servicing and Maintenance Contract Procurement.

Decision

The Executive Resolved

That  (i)    approval be granted to commence procurement of the Housing Domestic Gas servicing and maintenance contract;

          (ii)   procurement will be via the Procure Public Heating and Associated Services 2025 Framework; and

          (iii)  the Strategic Director – People and Communities, in consultation with the Portfolio Holder for Housing, be authorised to progress the procurement and to agree the direct award, including entering into the new contract.

Reason: To ensure continuity of the current gas servicing and maintenance programme and ensure the Council’s statutory responsibilities for resident safety are met.
