Purpose

To approve various housing operational policies covering compliance, maintenance and management of our housing stock (including Mutual Exchange and Water Hygiene Policies).

Decision

The Executive Resolved

That  (i)    the Mutual Exchange Policy be approved;

          (ii)   the Water Hygiene & Legionella Safety Policy be approved; and

          (iii)  the Strategic Director – People and Communities, in consultation with the Portfolio Holder for Housing, be authorised to make minor amendments to the Policies as required.

Reason: To ensure that the Council has up-to-date and transparent policies in place that meet the requirements of the Regulator of Social Housing and Consumer Standards.
