Purpose

To update the Shadow Executive on progress made against the implementation plan.

Decision

RESOLVED

That     (i)     progress against critical milestones and the overall programme assurance position be noted;

            (ii)    the current programme risk profile and emerging risks be noted; and

            (iii)    the latest Implementation Fund position be noted.

Reasons for Decision

Under the Shadow Authority’s Constitution, the Shadow Executive is responsible for overseeing and managing the transition programme, including maintaining the Implementation Plan and taking the key executive decisions needed to establish the new council.  Agreeing the recommendations in this report will support the Shadow Executive to discharge these functions.

The Shadow Authority Executive will receive regular programme updates providing assurance on overall delivery and highlighting areas requiring direction or decision.
