Purpose

To agree the content of the Scoping Report for consultation purposes.

Decision

The Executive Resolved

That  (i)    the Scoping Consultation Report, as attached at Appendix i to the report, be agreed for consultation purposes;

          (ii)   delegated authority be granted to the Head of Planning, in consultation with the Portfolio Holder for Planning that any minor amendments can be made to the Scoping Consultation Report; and

          (iii)  the consultation runs from Monday 13 July to Sunday 16 August 2026.

Reason: The new local plan is a document that will provide the planning policy framework for the borough of Woking once adopted and it is essential that Members are aware of and support the content and direction of travel of the document as it progresses.
