Purpose

To agree the proposed new process for proposals for accessing funds for Strategic CIL.

Decision

The Executive Resolved

That  (i)    the Local Government Reorganisation implications concerning the Council’s Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) be noted;

          (ii)   Officers should prepare an Infrastructure Priority Plan (IPP) for future strategic CIL spend; and

          (iii)  the draft IPP should be taken to Environment and Place Scrutiny Committee for its consideration, prior to the IPP being submitted to the Executive for final approval.

Reason: The recommendations will ensure the effective spend of strategic Community Infrastructure Levy.
